Ace Seeds was born in Spain in 2004, when Dubin, Kaikin and other like-minded breeders wanted to safeguard the genetic diversity of cannabis – especially the original landrace strains that were threatened by industrial hybrids. The project grew into an official seed bank in 2004-2005, and in the twenty years since, Ace has established a reputation as a specialist preserver of sativa-dominant, exotic lines. The team has collected seeds in Asia, Africa and Latin America, stabilized them at their research stations and documented each parent line through laboratory analysis.
