Olive wood is a slow-growing and striking material that stands out with its lively grain. It is very hard and withstands heat and embers exceptionally well. In use it gives (especially at first) a pleasant, light nutty taste. Because olive wood is a demanding material that is prone to cracking, it requires the most attention and skill from our turner.
