It consists of high-quality buffered coco fibre and perlite mixed in a precise 70/30 ratio. The blend was developed for growers who want the benefits of coco combined with exceptionally efficient drainage.

The secret of this medium is its high porosity. The added perlite (30%) keeps the structure airy and prevents compaction, allowing the roots to breathe continuously. A richer oxygen supply stimulates root hair formation and boosts nutrient uptake, which shows as faster, stronger plant growth. Thanks to its excellent drainage, the medium "dries" slightly faster than traditional coco, allowing a more frequent watering rhythm and thus more precise nutrient management.

Atami High Porosity Cocos is an RHP-certified natural product. The coco has been carefully matured, washed and buffered, ensuring a very low salt content and a stable pH. It is free of pathogens and gives a safe start to both seeds and cuttings.

Use
Fill pots with Atami High Porosity Cocos and compact only very lightly to preserve aeration. Because the medium drains efficiently, the watering rhythm may need to be more frequent than with traditional coco. Start regular feeding about a week after planting. Ideal for hand watering and especially for automatic drip and drain-to-waste systems.
