A diffuser tube, or downstem, that guides the smoke from the bowl under the water. The slits cut into the end break the smoke into several small bubbles instead of one big one, which clearly softens the draw.

An 18.8 mm male joint for the bong and a 14.5 mm female joint for the bowl: the most common combination in glass bongs. It is a wear part, so it is worth keeping a spare on the shelf. This is the shortest size in the series.
