Laughing Buddha is an almost pure sativa strain, created by crossing a Thai landrace sativa with a Jamaican hybrid. This cultivar has a longer flowering period but rewards growers with large, dense and heavy buds forming along more than a metre of stem. During the final three weeks of flowering it will require support due to the weight of the flowers. The aroma is intense and sweet, releasing strong exotic fruit notes.
