The Milwaukee CD611 is a simple, reliable and cost-effective pen-style meter designed for quick, clear measurement of water's electrical conductivity (EC). It is especially suited to situations that call for a basic but accurate reading without complicated extra functions, such as hydroponic growing, aquariums and monitoring nutrient solutions.

The device measures the conductivity of the solution directly (µS/cm), giving a reliable estimate of the salt and nutrient content of the water. Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) keeps readings consistent at different temperatures, even though the temperature is not shown separately on the display.

Instructions:
Remove the protective cap.
Switch the meter on with the ON/OFF button.
Immerse the probe in the liquid to be measured.
Stir gently and wait for the reading to stabilise.
Rinse the probe with clean water after use.

Storage:
Keep the probe clean and rinsed after use. The EC probe does not need to be stored in liquid, but regular cleaning helps maintain measuring accuracy.
