Mother Gorilla’s parent strains are the legendary Gorilla Glue #4 and Reina Madre.

Mother Gorilla is an RQS variety and a reborn evolution of Royal Madre. The original Royal Madre was created by crossing Jack the Ripper and Reina Madre (Queen Mother) and was known as a hard-hitting sativa-dominant variety.

Reina Madre genetics provided a strong foundation for this cross, contributing high THC levels and an uplifting sativa character. Reina Madre also features an expressive terpene profile with sweet, sour, and spicy notes, several of which are carried over into Mother Gorilla.

The powerful impact, however, clearly comes from the Gorilla Glue lineage. Gorilla Glue is known for exceptionally high THC levels, sometimes reaching close to 30%, along with a distinctive aroma featuring pine, chocolate, and subtle diesel notes. These qualities helped Gorilla Glue earn top positions at both the High Times Cannabis Cup and the High Times World Cup.

Built on these two strong parents, Mother Gorilla combines high THC potential, rich flavour, and a relatively fast flowering time. This strain is strongly sativa-dominant and is known for producing large yields.

Mother Gorilla typically contains around 23–25% THC. The buds are rich in the terpene caryophyllene, supported by limonene and myrcene. The resulting flavour profile blends deep chocolate and earthy tones with sweet and spicy accents.
