The true genetic origins of OG Kush are shrouded in mystery. Some believe it is a cross of Chemdawg with Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush, while others suspect it is simply another descendant of early-1990s Chemdawg. Even the origin of the name OG Kush is disputed. Some say OG stands for Original Gangster, but considering its origins, most agree that OG more likely means Ocean Grown.

Royal Queen Seeds breeders worked extensively to develop their version of the legendary OG Kush. By combining genetics from Chemdawg, Lemon Thai, and Pakistani Kush, they created a balanced strain with solid THC levels and a rich profile of fruity terpenes. The genetic makeup is approximately 75% indica and 25% sativa.
