Terp Pearls are placed in a hot banger or chamber before the concentrate is added. With a compatible spinning carb cap, the airflow makes the pearls spin on the surface of the concentrate.

The spinning motion spreads the concentrate evenly across the whole hot surface, which prevents hot spots and makes vaporisation more efficient. The result is more even heat, less burnt residue and noticeably better flavour. The good heat retention of quartz particularly suits low-temperature dabs.
